Frequently Asked Questions

Ready for cleaner water from every tap in your South East Queensland home?

What does the 3-stage filtration system actually remove?
The WaterMark AS 3497:2021 certified 3-stage process targets sediment (rust, dirt, sand), chlorine and chloramines (taste/odour), and common organic compounds. Standard and Premium tiers add extra protection for rainwater tanks or hard-water areas common in Ipswich, Logan, Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast. You get noticeably better-tasting water from every tap – kitchen, showers and laundry.

How long does installation take, and do I need to be home?
Most whole-home water filtration installations are completed in 2–4 hours by our QBCC-licensed plumber. You only need to be home for the start of the appointment so we can explain the system. No pre-install site visit is required – everything is qualified over the phone.

Do your systems work with rainwater tanks?
Yes. The Standard and Premium tiers are specifically optimised for rainwater tanks that are very common on the Sunshine Coast and Gold Coast. During your free consultation, we ask about your tank setup (size, pump, etc.) and recommend the right tier for best performance.

What is the warranty, and how do I maintain the system?
All systems include a 1-year warranty (extendable to 2 years on the Premium tier). Filters last 6–12 months, depending on usage. Our optional $200/year service plan includes filter delivery, plumber replacement visit (if wanted), system health check and keeps your warranty valid.

Which tier is best for my home?
- Basic: Perfect for standard town water in Brisbane metro.
- Standard: Ideal for rainwater tanks or mild hard water (Ipswich/Gold Coast).
- Premium: Best for larger homes, very hard water (Logan/Sunshine Coast), extra capacity and priority booking. We recommend the right one during your free quote call.

Do you offer financing or payment plans?
Yes – interest-free and low-interest finance options are available through our trusted partners (subject to approval). Many customers spread the cost at under $20–$35 per week, making premium whole-home filtration very affordable.

What areas do you service?
We cover Brisbane metro, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, Ipswich and Logan City. All installations and service calls are performed by our local, QBCC-licensed team based in Brisbane.

How do I get a free quote?
Call 07 4803 0047 or fill out the quick form on our Get a Quote page. Tell us your suburb, water source (town or rainwater) and any concerns. A Water Specialist will call you back the same day with a personalised tier recommendation and exact pricing – zero obligation.

How often do the filters need to be changed?
Filters typically last 6–12 months (town water in Brisbane lasts longer; rainwater on the Sunshine Coast may need changing every 6–9 months). We offer a convenient $200 annual service plan, so you never have to remember or shop for filters yourself.

What is the difference between Basic, Standard and Premium tiers?
Basic (from $2,000 installed) suits standard town water. Standard (from $3,000) adds enhanced taste/odour removal for rainwater or mild hard water. Premium (from $4,000) gives larger capacity, extra spares, a 2-year warranty and priority service – perfect for bigger homes or harder water areas.

Do you service and maintain systems after installation?
Yes – we offer full ongoing service across all our service areas. Our annual plan includes filter changes, system checks and priority support so your water quality stays perfect for years.

Is the system suitable for larger families or high water usage homes?
Yes – choose the Premium tier for homes with 4+ bedrooms or high usage. It has higher-capacity filters and is designed to maintain strong water pressure even during peak times (showers + laundry + kitchen at once).

Will I notice better taste in coffee, tea and cooking?
Absolutely. Most customers tell us the difference is dramatic once chlorine and other compounds are removed. Your morning coffee, tea, and even ice cubes taste noticeably cleaner.

Can the system be installed on any house type (brick, weatherboard, townhouse)?
Yes. Our licensed plumbers have installed systems on every type of home in South East Queensland – from modern townhouses to older Queenslanders and acreage properties with rainwater tanks.

What happens if something goes wrong after installation?
You are fully supported by our local Brisbane team. All systems are covered by warranty, and we respond quickly across Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, Ipswich and Logan.

Do you remove fluoride or add any minerals back?
Our standard 3-stage system focuses on sediment, chlorine, taste and odour. It does not remove fluoride. If you want fluoride removal or remineralisation, we can discuss add-on options during your quote.

How does your pricing compare to other whole-house systems?
We are completely transparent – systems start from $2,000 installed (Basic tier). No hidden fees, no pushy sales. We include licensed installation and full testing – many competitors quote parts-only and charge extra for installation.

Is professional installation required, or can I DIY?
We strongly recommend professional installation. Incorrect DIY can cause leaks, reduce performance or void the warranty. Our QBCC-licensed plumber guarantees a clean, code-compliant job.

Do you offer a money-back guarantee or trial period?
We offer a full 30-day satisfaction guarantee on all systems. If you’re not happy with the water quality, we will remove the system and refund you in full (conditions apply – contact us for details).

How quickly can I get installed after accepting a quote?
Most customers are booked and installed within 7–14 days, depending on your preferred date. We always try to accommodate urgent requests.
